Turning season and low back pain
The turning of the season, you could lose your body balance, not only hormone balance, but also tensile. Sudden temperature rise/drop could cause elasticity changes.
Especially on spring/autumn, more activities, more movements.
Just a little twitch could cause strained back.
To avoid strained back,
Warmup enough before activities, especially when you carry heavy staff.
Keep stretching and release back line of muscles and fascia,
starting from plantar fascia,
- releasing plantar fascia by rolling golfball gently
- Stretch back line, pull your toe with knee straight
Keep hip flexor muscles strength Abdominal work and leg raise And flexibility for the hip flexor muscles, stretch and release muscles.
Any contralateral balance issue, strength and flexibility need to be adjusted.
Optimal Stretching is good for avoiding back pain.
DO NOT do too much stretching, it may cause tighten the muscles and it could get worse.
And, if you have sever back pain or strained back, DO NOT stretch without doctor/specialist’s supervision/instruction.
It also could lead low back pain from lattisimus dorsi, one of shoulder muscle, since it's connected to iliac crest and lumber vertebrae through thoracolumber fascia.
